Research interests:
Theories of Truth; Ethics; Philosophy of Mathematics; Philosophy of Language.
 
Education:

Professor Marino received her PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine, through the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science, in 2002, and has Master's degrees in Mathematics from Tulane University and SUNY-Buffalo. Before coming to Waterloo, she was a Humanities Fellow at Stanford University.

 
Publications:
Her recent publications, on the correspondence theory of truth, on moral dilemmas, and on ethical anti-realism, have appeared or will appear in various journals, including Philosophical Studies and The Journal of Moral Philosophy. Her current research concerns theories of truth, their relations to realism/anti-realism in ethics and mathematics, and ethical conflict.
