Philosophy of Religion; Ethics.
 
Education:
Professor Horne received the Ph.D. from Columbia in 1964.
 
Publications:
He is especially interested in religious morality, mysticism, and religious experience, and is the author of Beyond Mysticism, (WLU Press, 1978), The Moral Mystic (WLU Press, 1983), and Mysticism and Vocation (WLU Press, 1996). His articles and reviews appear in such journals as The Philosophical Forum, Dialogue, The Journal of Religion, Religious Studies, and The International Journal for Philosophy of Religion.
