Research interests:
The philosophy of George Santayana; Charles S. Peirce; Foundations of Mathematics.
 
Education:
Professor Kerr-Lawson has degrees in mathematics from the Universities of Toronto and Chicago, and received his Ph.D. from McMaster University in 1963.
 
Publications:
He is especially interested in George Santayana, and is founder and editor of Overheard in Seville: Bulletin of the Santayana Society, an annual journal devoted to information and research papers about Santayana. As well as there, he has published in the Canadian Journal of Mathematics, The Transactions of the Charles S. Peirce Society, Dialogue, The Southern Journal of Philosophy, and two recent anthologies.
